Senior LIC officials met with CM Dhami, presented a check for ₹1 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, and the CM expressed his gratitude

Dehradun: Senior officials of the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) paid a courtesy call to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Chief Minister’s residence. On this occasion, the Corporation presented a check for ₹1 crore (one crore rupees) to the Chief Minister for the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

Chief Minister Dhami praised the LIC’s socially responsible initiative, saying, “Whenever there is a need in times of crisis in the state, organizations like LIC step forward and set an example of support. This amount will make a meaningful contribution to helping the disaster-affected and needy.”

The Chief Minister stated that the state government is prioritizing relief and rehabilitation work with transparency and sensitivity. He added that such support not only reinforces the government’s efforts but also strengthens the spirit of partnership and cooperation in society.

LIC officials stated that the organization has always been engaged in social causes and will continue to contribute to the development and disaster management of Uttarakhand in every possible way.

Additional Secretary Manmohan Mainali, Zonal Manager LIC PS Negi, SDM LIC SB Yadav, and Mahesh Singh Mehra were present on the occasion.
