Dehradun: Preparations for Uttarakhand’s State Foundation Day are in full swing. Uttarakhand will complete 25 years on November 9th. Consequently, the state government has decided to celebrate this foundation day as a Silver Jubilee year. To make this Silver Jubilee celebration memorable for the people of the state, it has been decided to hold a two-day special session of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly during this period.
This State Foundation Day will also be memorable because both President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the event. According to information received from the Information and Public Relations Department, Uttarakhand is completing 25 years of its State Formation Day. In keeping with this Silver Jubilee year, a two-day special session will be held at the Assembly building in Dehradun. In such a situation, President Draupadi Murmu may address a special session of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly.
During a recent cabinet meeting, the decision to convene a special session of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly was taken. However, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has been authorized to finalize the dates. In addition to the President, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also expected to visit Uttarakhand.
It is expected that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also attend the Silver Jubilee celebrations marking the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the state of Uttarakhand. According to information received, agreement has been reached on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Uttarakhand. Therefore, the status of the Uttarakhand visit will become clear soon.
The two-day special session to be convened at the Legislative Assembly building in Dehradun will discuss the 25-year development story of Uttarakhand, so that the achievements and development story of Uttarakhand over these 25 years can be discussed in detail, along with future challenges. Therefore, it is expected that the date of President Draupadi Murmu’s visit to Uttarakhand will be finalized after the dates for the special session of the Legislative Assembly are announced.
