Silver Jubilee celebrations to mark 25 years of statehood, 11-day celebrations – CM holds press conference

Dehradun: Silver Jubilee celebrations are being held across the state from November 1st to November 11th to mark the 25th anniversary of the state’s establishment. In this connection, CM Dhami held a press conference at the BJP state office today.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami stated during a press conference at the BJP party office that 12,000 people will be provided employment in the next year. Work is underway to achieve this goal. The unemployment rate has decreased. He also stated that per capita income has increased 17-fold since the state’s formation.

President Draupadi Murmu will deliver a special address at the special session of the Legislative Assembly on November 3rd, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the celebrations on November 9th. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was originally scheduled to visit on November 11th, but this has been revised.

The Silver Jubilee will be celebrated for 11 days.

  • November 1: Igas at the CM residence in the evening, followed by a Comedy Fest at the Cultural Center, Garhi Cantt.
  • November 2: Ultra Marathon organized by the Tourism Department in Jolikong and Adi Kailash, followed by a Comedy Fest in the evening at the Garhi Cantt Cultural Center.
  • November 3: President’s address at the special session of the Legislative Assembly, Comedy Fest concluding in the evening at the Garhi Cantt Cultural Center.
  • November 4: Second day of the special session of the Legislative Assembly, a conference of mayors and presidents of municipal bodies in Kashipur, and an evening event at the Garhi Cantt Cultural Center.
  • November 5: Overseas Uttarakhandi Conference at Doon University, and the Sports Department’s Hockey and Traditional Sports Championship in Haridwar.
  • November 6: Evening event at the Garhi Cantt Cultural Center.
  • November 6: Saints’ Conference in Haridwar, Employment Fair at ITI Niranjanpur Doon, Youth Festival at the Parade Ground, Jan-Van Utsav in Ramnagar Nainital, Veterans’ Conference in Haldwani, and an evening program at the Cultural Center in Garhi Cantt.
  • November 7: Farmers’ Conference in Pantnagar, an evening program at the Cultural Center in Garhi Cantt.
  • November 8: Conference and felicitation of state activists at the Tehsil Headquarters and District Headquarters, a Women’s Conference in Haldwani, and an evening program at the Cultural Center in Garhi Cantt.
  • November 9: Rite parade at the Police Lines, an evening program at the Cultural Center in Garhi Cantt.

Special Session: President Murmu to address on November 3rd, 25 years of development journey to be discussed

PM Modi to visit Dehradun on November 9th for Uttarakhand Statehood Silver Jubilee Celebrations

PM Modi will attend the Foundation Day celebrations at the Forest Research Institute (FRI) on November 9th. Preparations for the grand event at FRI have intensified. Meanwhile, state-level programs are being organized in every district of the state to mark the state’s establishment. Chief Minister Secretary Vinay Shankar Pandey stated that final touches are being put on preparations for PM Modi’s November 9th program.
