Dehradun: Youth protests are being witnessed across the state regarding the UKSSSC paper leak case. The issue is also being heavily politicized. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has issued a major statement regarding the youth protests. He said that this movement is being politicized, with slogans of treason being raised.
CM Pushkar Singh Dhami stated that he had told the youth yesterday that it is up to them to decide who is leading their movement. After all, who is pursuing their own interests by bringing the youth to the streets through their protest? Who has completely politicized this issue?
CM Pushkar Singh Dhami says that the movement is being led by people who have nothing to do with the youth or the recruitment exams; they are only seeking to fulfill their own selfish interests. But the government is committed to making 25,000 appointments transparently and without corruption, and will continue this process with determination. It is their resolve to release a recruitment calendar.
CM Pushkar Singh Dhami stated that an SIT, under the supervision of a High Court judge, will investigate the matter. The recruitment process has been completely halted for a month. No results are expected during this period. A decision in the best interests of the students will be made based on whatever the SIT investigation reveals. However, it is also unfortunate that the government is being targeted and politicized under the guise of students.
CM Pushkar Singh Dhami stated that anti-national slogans are being raised during the protest and that Sanatan Dharma is being insulted. Therefore, the youth also need to reflect on this matter. The youth of the state are very discerning and nationalist. Uttarakhand is also the land of the gods. The people of this land will certainly move forward after careful consideration. CM Dhami made this statement in response to questions from journalists during a government event in Dehradun.
It should be noted that on Sunday, September 21st, three pages of the UKSSSC graduate-level exam question paper were leaked from an exam center in Haridwar shortly after the exam began. This matter has caused considerable uproar in the state, with protests taking place at various locations. CM Dhami has described these protests as politically motivated. Police have arrested the main accused, Khalid, who was also a candidate, and his sister.
It is alleged that Khalid took mobile photos of three pages of the question paper from the exam center and sent them to his sister, Sabia, who was Assistant Professor Suman. This is when the entire matter came to light.
