HYDERABAD: The Telangana government on Saturday transferred 20 IAS officers, the majority of them district collectors. This is the major reshuffle of district collectors in the state after Congress came to power in December 2023, with some collectors having worked in the same district for more than two years.
Peddapalli collector Muzammil Khan has been posted as Khammam collector, and Koya Sriharsha has been posted to Peddapalli.Mancherial collector Badavath Santhosh has been transferred to Nagarkurnool district, and Warangal collector P Pravaniya has been shifted to Hanmakonda district. Vikarabad collector Narayan Reddy has been shifted to Nalgonda, and ITDA Bhadrachalam project director Prateek Jail has been posted as collector of Vikarabad. Hanmakonda collector Sikta Patnaik has been transferred to Narayanpet, and Suryapet collector Venkat Rao has been replaced by Tejas Nandlal Pawar as the new collector of Suryapet. Mahbubnagar district collector G Ravi was transferred, and B Vijendra, who has been working as special secretary of Transport and Roads and Buildings department, was shifted as Mahbubnagar collector.
