Know about two SDRFs: SDRF has been mentioned here. Which has two meanings. In which the first is SDRF (State Disaster Response Fund). Which is a financial fund available with the state governments to deal with disasters. Whereas, the second is SDRF (State Disaster Response Force), which is a special rescue team, which plays an important role in rescue especially during disasters.

At the same time, this time the disaster has caused heavy damage in Uttarakhand. Due to which all the infrastructure including people’s homes, farms, gardens etc. have been destroyed. SDRF has played an important role during the disaster. It helps in saving the lives of many people. In Uttarakhand, SDRF continuously works to reach the spot immediately and provide assistance with better efforts in disasters.

According to SDRF IG Arun Mohan Joshi, SDRF i.e. State Disaster Response Force is being strengthened further. In the coming days, not only the dress but also the resources for rescue relief work will be upgraded. Also, more soldiers will be a part of SDRF.
