Dehradun: The state government will also implement the state’s youth and women policy in the new year. Drafts of both these policies have been prepared. The proposals of the drafts of these policies were handed over to the Planning Department for study.
The department has completed this work. According to Secretary Planning R Meenakshi Sundaram, public suggestions will also be taken on both the policies. The youth and women policy of the state is the election promise of the BJP. The Dhami government will fulfill this promise of the party in the new year. It is believed that by this month public suggestions will also be received regarding both the policies.
For this, draft proposals of the policies will be uploaded on the website of the Planning Department. Before taking suggestions from the public about both the policies, their proposal will also be discussed with Chief Secretary Radha Raturi. The government can also communicate with the youth on the youth policy so that if there is any important suggestion, it can be made a part of the policy draft.
It is believed that after taking public suggestions on both the policies, they will be brought to the meeting for cabinet approval. This entire process is likely to be completed in the month of January. After this, the government will implement the youth and women policy in the state.
The drafts of the women and youth policy are ready. These draft proposals were sent to the Planning Department for study. The study work has been completed. Now it will be brought in the public domain. Suggestions will be invited from the people by uploading drafts of the policies on the website. After this the policy proposal will be finalized.
