Dehradun: The figure of 12,000 delegates has been registered in the tenth edition of the four-day World Ayurveda Congress and Arogya Expo. This is the largest number of delegates in the history of this world-class event. In this regard, Uttarakhand has achieved a great feat. 54 countries participated in this event. 300 foreign delegates participated in this program and showed their love for AYUSH.
The highest number of delegates reached the ninth edition of this event held in Goa last year. 5102 delegates were registered there. Only 1800 delegates were registered in the first edition of this event held in Kochi. When this event was announced in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, it was believed that record registrations could be made here. Being the most prosperous state in terms of AYUSH was considered to be the reason for this. This estimate has proved to be correct. Delegates from the country and abroad have created a new record of registration by showing special interest in coming to Uttarakhand.
According to Dr. Vijay Jogdande, Additional Secretary, Department of AYUSH, a total of 12 thousand registrations have been done in this event. 300 representatives from 54 countries have also participated in the event. He said that during this time, along with in-depth discussion on AYUSH, new possibilities have also been discussed.
Uttarakhand is grateful to the delegates from India and abroad for the successful organization of World Ayurveda Congress and Arogya Expo 2024. Important discussions have taken place in Ayush Bhoomi Uttarakhand, which will have far-reaching results. We are committed to the development of AYUSH and to benefit the common people from it.
