Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on March 4 approved the amount for the strengthening and asphalting of many main roads and motorways of the state under the state plan. In this, financial approval of 329.71 lakh has been given for strengthening and asphalting the dilapidated place of Kwalgaon Jhumrada motor road in Naugaon, development block of Yamunotri in Uttarkashi, while 469.53 lakh has been given for Naugaon Sayuri motor road of Purola.
CM Dhami has approved Rs 830.52 lakh for the work of widening and improvement of motor road from km 73 of NH 109 in Almora via Vikas Bhawan to New Collectorate Almora and Medical College Almora. CM Dhami has approved Rs 390.16 lakh for the construction of police station Banbhulpura on the land of encroachment removed from Banbhulpura located in Haldwani, Nainital.
On the other hand, 422.43 lakh has been approved for the construction of new building of police station Banbasa in Champawat in Kumaon. A total amount of 593.39 lakhs has been given for the construction of retaining wall and internal road in the second phase of Advanced Training Center and Government Polytechnic Champawat. While 415.37 lakhs have been given for the scheme of RBF tube well construction and related works in Mayapur Drinking Water Scheme under Gopeshwar branch of Chamoli. At the same time, financial approval of 619.66 lakhs has been given for the Naya Gaon Hathibarkala Drinking Water Scheme of the capital Dehradun.
As per the announcement made earlier by Chief Minister Dhami, approval of 41.514 lakhs was received for the construction of Harichand Guru Chandbagh Vishal Community Bhawan in the rural area of Assembly constituency Rudrapur in the year 2024-25. An amount of 103.50 lakhs has been given for the beautification of Chatkeshwar Mahadev Mela Sthal and ancient Shiva temple of Gram Panchayat Devtal village Siblo of Assembly constituency Pithoragarh. At the same time, financial approval of Rs 83.61 lakh has been given for the beautification of Hanuman Mandir Mela Sthal, Aadi Mela Sthal, Kalukhan and Footling Mela Sthal, Kalukhan in Champawat, Rs 55 lakh for the construction of Jan Milan Kendra in Gram Panchayat Bhandari village of Assembly constituency DDhat.
CM Dhami has given an amount of Rs 791.79 lakh for the provision of internal/external electricity and water supply, rain water harvesting, underground water tank, solar water heater, road, boundary wall and necessary water and sewerage system for the campus etc. Rs 80.39 lakh has been received for the renovation and development of Lachair Mahakali temple in Assembly constituency DDhat. In the current financial year 2024-25, financial and administrative approval of Rs 56.30 lakh has been given for the installation of interlocking tiles on a 500-meter stretch of the road from the main market of Devidhura district Champawat to the college.
