The State Teachers’ Union met with Chief Minister Dhami regarding their demands. CM Dhami directed the concerned officials to take action within a week.

Dehradun: Officials of the State Teachers’ Union met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Chief Minister’s residence on Wednesday and presented their various demands. The Chief Minister listened to the teachers’ concerns seriously and, adopting a positive approach, assured them that their demands would be addressed on priority.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister directed a meeting to be held within a week, chaired by the Secretary of Personnel, with the Secretary of Education, the Director General of School Education, and representatives of the State Teachers’ Union. He also stated that further action should be taken in accordance with the terms of the State Teachers’ Union’s demand letter.

Secretary Shailesh Bagauli, Additional Secretary Banshidhar Tiwari, State Teachers’ Union President Ram Singh Chauhan, General Secretary Ramesh Painuli, Vice President Rajkumar Chaudhary, and others were present on the occasion.
