Dehradun: DPC (Departmental Promotion Committee) is going to be held soon regarding the promotion of inspectors in Uttarakhand Police Department. The special thing is that the inspectors who have been waiting for a long time to become Deputy SP will soon get the benefit of promotion. For this, the Police Headquarters has also asked for options for deployment after promotion from the promoted inspectors.
A letter from the Police Headquarters in Uttarakhand has brought happiness on the faces of the inspectors. Actually, Deputy Superintendent of Police Personnel Prashant Kumar at the Police Headquarters has issued a letter and asked for three options for transfer of 35 inspectors after promotion. Due to which new hope has arisen among the inspectors regarding promotion. The special thing is that the meeting of DPC for promotion has also been fixed, which is proposed in Uttarakhand Public Service Commission on 19 December.
The promotion of inspectors to the post of Deputy SP in the state was being awaited for a long time. Now with the proposed meeting of DPC, the Police Headquarters has sought three options of deployment after promotion for the 35 promoted inspectors. It has been clarified in this letter that one of these three options must be a hilly district.
On the other hand, if we look at the related order, a total of 19 inspectors of civil police have been included in the list. Apart from this, 10 inspectors are from PAC. Regarding promotion, the names of 6 intelligence inspectors are also included in this list.
The Home Department in the government has sent the requisition regarding promotion to the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission. In which there is information about sending requisition for 16 inspectors of civil police, 6 intelligence and 10 PSC inspectors. Whereas the Police Headquarters has sought options for deployment of 19 inspectors of civil police after promotion.
