Dehradun: A large number of transfers have been done in the Uttarakhand Health Department, under which the Health Department has made administrative changes in the posts of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and Chief Medical Superintendent (CMS) in many districts.
Health Secretary Dr. R Rajesh Kumar said that the state government is committed to providing better health facilities to the public. Due to which new appointments have been made to the posts of CMO and CMS in many districts on the basis of departmental evaluation and efficiency. He also said that the purpose of the transfers is to increase transparency, efficiency and accountability in health services. So that the public can get high quality medical facilities on time.
He said that all the newly appointed officers will work with full readiness towards improving the medical system in their respective districts. All necessary steps are being taken by the government to improve the health infrastructure in the state, so that people can get benefits.
Transfers made for these officers:
- Dr. Praveen Kumar, Chief Medical Officer in charge Pauri was kept on compulsory waiting in the office of Director General Medical Health and Family Welfare.
- Dr. PK Chandola Chief Medical Superintendent Sub District Hospital Rishikesh was posted as Chief Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon Sub District Hospital Rishikesh.
- Dr. Parul Joint Director Chief Medical Officer Office Pauri was given the responsibility of Chief Medical Officer in charge Pauri.
- Dr KK Agarwal, Chief Medical Superintendent, Sub District Hospital Rudrapur was given the responsibility of Chief Medical Officer Udham Singh Nagar.
- Dr Vinay Kumar Tyagi was removed from Sub District Hospital Premnagar and given the responsibility of Additional Chief Medical Officer Pauri.
- Dr Pratap Singh was removed from Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya District Hospital Dehradun and given the responsibility of Additional Chief Medical Officer Pauri.
- Dr Vijay Singh was removed from Sub District Hospital Vikasnagar Dehradun and given the responsibility of Chief Medical Superintendent Base Hospital Kotdwar.
- Dr Satya Prakash Tripathi, District Hospital Bageshwar was given the responsibility of Chief Medical Superintendent District Hospital Pithoragarh.
- Dr Manoj Kumar Sharma, In-charge Chief Medical Officer Udham Singh Nagar was given the responsibility of Chief Medical Officer Dehradun.
