Two IAS officers transferred, 12 get additional charge

Jaipur: The department of personnel (DOP) on Thursday issued order to transfer two IAS officers and give additional charge to 12 IAS officers. The 1993 batch IAS officer, Alok, who was awaiting posting order, has been appointed as the chief resident commissioner, New Delhi.
Jasmeet Singh Sandhu, who was the joint chief executive officer of State Health Assurance Agency, will replace Mukul Sharma as the district collector and magistrate of Salumber.

District collector and magistrate of Jodhpur Gaurav Agrawal has been given additional charge of Jodhpur Rural. Additional chief secretary (ACS) social justice and empowerment department Kuldeep Ranka has been given additional charge of specially-abled persons department as its state commissioner. ACS transport department Sreya Guha has been given additional charge of Rajasthan State Bus Terminal Development Authority as its chairperson.

ACS Home Anand Kumar has been given additional charge of the civil defence department as its commissioner. Principal secretary industries and MSME Ajitabh Sharma has been given additional charge of Rajasthan Small Industries Corporation Limited (RAJSICO) as its chairperson.

Also, principal secretary agriculture and horticulture Vaibhav Galriya has been given additional charge of Rajasthan State Seeds Corporation as its chairperson and principal secretary urban development and housing department T Ravikanth has been given additional charge of Jaipur City Transport Services Limited as its chairperson. Arti Dogra, secretary information technology and communication department, has been given additional charge of RajCOMP Info Services Ltd as its chairperson.

Ahmedabad: The state general administration department (GAD) issued a notification, appointing new prabhari sachivs (secretaries in charge) for eight districts. Captain Vivek Chhabra, the chief flight operations inspector (CFOI) in the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has been terminated on administrative grounds and public interest. A termination letter was issued by Dinesh Kumar Rana, DGCA director (administration) on January 24. Captain Chhabra had joined the DGCA in March 2021 and his contract was extended until June 2025.

The railways has built a new foot overbridge (FOB) to replace a level crossing at Putlur railway station on Chennai-Tiruvallur route. However, the FOB is too steep and lacks a lift, causing people to continue crossing the tracks. This puts them at risk as trains run at 130kmph on this route.
