Two New Members & Two New DGs Appointed Into The Railway Board

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has recently promoted four officers to the Level 17 (Apex Scale) of the Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS). Among them, two officers have been appointed as Members of the Railway Board, while the remaining two were made Director Generals in the Railway Board.

They are:

  • Mr. Braj Mohan Agrawal, the incumbent DG (Safety) of the Railway Board, has been appointed as a Member (Traction & Rolling Stock) of the Railway Board.
  • Mr. Naveen Gulati, the incumbent DG (HR) of the Railway Board, has been appointed as a Member (Infrastructure) of the Railway Board.
  • Mr. Hari Shankar Verma, last posted as the DG in IRITM, has been appointed as the Director General (Safety) in the Railway Board.
  • Mr. R Rajagopal, the incumbent GM of RWF, has been appointed Director General (Human Resources) in the Railway Board.
