Delhi: The Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC) gave the nod to the proposal of promoting two senior IPS officers, Mr. Rajesh Nirwan and Mr. Hemant Priyadarshi, to Director General (DG) rank at the Centre.
Incumbent as the Additional Director General of the Rajasthan Anti-Corruption Bureau, Mr. Hemant Priyadarshi (1992 batch IPS) has an M. Tech in Mechanical Engineering and has occupied pivotal roles in departments like the CID, ATS, and Intelligence. The incumbent DG of Home Guards, Mr. Rajesh Nirwan (1992 batch IPS), holds a gamut of coveted degrees like the Chartered Accountant, an MBA, and a Master’s in Political Management.
