Dehradun: A review meeting regarding preparing rules for Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code was held at Bijapur Guest House under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Mrs. Radha Raturi and Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code committee member Shatrughan Singh. In today’s meeting, various aspects related to preparing rules for Uttarakhand UCC were discussed in detail with the cooperation and coordination of Home, Police, Health, Excise, Minority, Culture, Food and Civil Supplies, Energy, Planning, Finance departments. Chief Secretary Mrs. Radha Raturi and Uttarakhand UCC member Shatrughan Singh have directed all departments to cooperate and coordinate in finalizing the rules to be made for the implementation of UCC.
UCC member Manu Gaur, Mrs. Surekha Dangwal, Director General of Police Abhinav Kumar, Special Chief Secretary Amit Sinha, Principal Secretary Ramesh Kumar Sudhanshu along with officials from Home, Police, Health, Excise, Minority, Culture, Food and Civil Supplies, Energy, Planning, Finance departments were present.
