Dehradun: Opposition parties have now begun to corner the Dhami government over the UKSSSC (Uttarakhand Subordinate Selection Commission) paper leak. Congress MP Rahul Gandhi made a significant statement on the matter, taking a dig at the BJP.
Sharing a post on his ex-account, Rahul Gandhi wrote that repeated paper leaks across the country have ruined the lives and dreams of millions of hardworking youth. The Uttarakhand UKSSSC paper leak is the latest example. Millions of youth worked day and night, but the BJP’s theft ruined all their hard work.
We have been continuously demanding a robust and transparent system to prevent paper leaks, but the Modi government is turning a blind eye to this because they are concerned not about youth unemployment but about their own power.
Rahul Gandhi, Congress MP
Unemployment is the biggest problem facing the country today and is directly linked to vote theft. Paper thieves know this. Even if youth don’t get jobs, they will remain in power by stealing votes in elections. Youth are on the streets and chanting, “Paper thieves, leave the throne!”
Rahul Gandhi, Congress MP
Rahul Gandhi didn’t stop there. He said that this isn’t just a fight for jobs for youth, it’s a fight for justice and democracy. I stand firmly with every student and youth in this fight for justice. Meanwhile, the BJP also reacted to Rahul Gandhi’s statement.
BJP’s response: Uttarakhand BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt said that Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh have also previously experienced major paper leaks. Therefore, Rahul Gandhi should look into his state (a Congress-ruled state) and make improvements. Rahul Gandhi doesn’t need to be told anything. The BJP government has made it clear that the culprits will not be spared. It’s better if Rahul Gandhi and the Congress remain silent on this matter.
It should be noted that the UKSSSC exam was held on September 21st. Then, shortly after the exam began, three pages of the question paper were leaked from an exam center in Haridwar. They were photographed and sent to an assistant professor, causing an uproar across the state. Police have so far arrested the main accused in this case, Akhid, who was taking the exam at the same exam center. It is alleged that Khalid photographed three pages of the question paper and sent them to his sister, Sabia. Sabia has also been arrested. Sabia sent those photos to the assistant professor, who then had the questions solved.
