Dehradun: The Uniform Civil Code (UCC) manual will be handed over to CM Pushkar Singh Dhami on October 18. A meeting has also been called under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister on the same day. After the last meeting of the Manual and Implementation Committee, the manual was sent for publication, which has been printed.
The committee had sought time to submit its draft. The CM gave time on October 18. On the same day, a meeting has also been called by the Chief Minister with the special committee on UCC. Committee Chairman Shatrughan Singh says that the agenda of the meeting has not been received yet.
After the work of the manual was completed, it was sent for publication, which will be handed over to the CM on October 18. Along with the rules, the work of its website and mobile app is also almost complete.
