Dehradun: Home Minister Amit Shah is on a visit to Uttarakhand on Thursday, 28 November. Home Minister Amit Shah reached Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie. The administration and security agencies had already made all the preparations for his arrival in Uttarakhand. Police force was deployed at every nook and corner in Mussoorie. On the arrival of Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah to Devbhoomi Uttarakhand, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami welcomed him at Jolly Grant Airport. Cabinet Ministers Premchand Aggarwal, Ganesh Joshi, Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat and other dignitaries also welcomed Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah. State Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi welcomed and greeted him by presenting a bouquet of flowers at Jolly Grant Airport.
Home Minister Amit Shah reached Polo Ground in Mussoorie at 12:30 pm by special plane. From here, he left for Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy Mussoorie (LBSNAA) by car. At the academy, the Home Minister interacted with the trainee officers of Indian Public Service.
The Chief Secretary had earlier held a meeting and given instructions to all the concerned departments regarding the arrangements. In this, priority was given to security, traffic management, emergency services and other administrative preparations. Security arrangements around the venue were tightened.
