Pithoragarh: Union Minister JP Nadda, who arrived on a two-day visit to Pithoragarh district, visited the holy Adi Kailash area in the afternoon. He went to the temple of Lord Shiva situated near Adi Kailash and Parvati Kund and worshiped Lord Shiva with full rituals. During this, JP Nadda prayed for the happiness, prosperity, peace and well-being of the people of the country.
During this, JP Nadda praised the natural beauty and spiritual significance of the area and called it unique. JP Nadda said that after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the holy area of Adi Kailash, there has been an increase in the movement of devotees and tourists in this area. This increased activity has generated new employment opportunities for local communities. Which has given a significant boost to the economy of the region.
Prime Minister Modi’s visit has not only highlighted the spiritual significance of Adi Kailash at the national and international level, but it has also strengthened the identity of this region as an important destination for adventure and spiritual tourism. As a result, the number of tourists and devotees visiting Adi Kailash and its surrounding areas has increased manifold in the last few years.
After this, JP Nadda visited the temple near Trishul at Jyolingkang. He also interacted with the army personnel and encouraged them. Union Minister of State Ajay Tamta, Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bahuguna, MLA Bishan Singh Chuphal, etc. were present on this occasion.
