In a major reshuffle 10 IPS officers in Uttar Pradesh was shifted, including the Superintendents of Police for six districts. The districts affected by this administrative move are Jalaun, Etah, Hardoi, Shamli, Bijnor, and Ghazipur. This reshuffle is part of the state’s ongoing efforts to enhance law and order.
In the new appointments, IPS Shyam Narayan Singh will take over as the Superintendent of Police in Etah. IPS Abhishek Verma has been appointed to Bijnor, while IPS Neeraj Kumar Jadaun will serve in Hardoi. IPS Iraj Raja has been designated for Ghazipur, and IPS Ramsevak Gautam will assume his role as the Superintendent of Police in Shamli.Rajesh Kumar Singh has been appointed as the DCP of Kanpur, while Shyam Narayan Singh will take over as the SP of Etah. Gaurav Banswal has been named the DCP of Varanasi, Keshav Chandra Goswami will serve as the SP at the Information Headquarters in Lucknow, and Omveer Singh has been designated as the DCP of Lucknow.
