UP: 7 IAS Officers Transferred, Atal Kumar Rai Made Director, Panchayati Raj

Lucknow: Amidst a recent development, the government of Uttar Pradesh mandated a reshuffling of 7 IAS Officers across the state.

Mr. Ramesh Ranjan (2013 batch IAS), presently posted as Special Secretary in the Department of Skill Development, replaced Dr. Ujjwal Kumar (2012 batch IAS) as the DM of Firozabad. Officer Kumar was transferred as Special Secretary in the Department of MSME, with additional charge as CEO of Khadi Village Industries, replacing Mr. Arun Prakash (2012 batch), who, in turn, was posted as Special Secretary in the Department of Urban Development.

Ms. Eesha Priya (2016 batch IAS), the incumbent Additional Commissioner & Additional Registrar (Admin) Cooperative, was transferred as Special Secretary in the Department of Tourism, while Mr. Gaurav Verma (2014 batch IAS),presently posted as Special Secretary in the Department of Youth Welfare was mandated to assume office as the Special Secretary in SAD.

Mr. Shesh Nath (2012 batch IAS), the incumbentSpecial Secretary in the Department of Sugarcane, was mandated to assume office as Special Secretary in Public Works Department, while Mr. Atal Kumar Rai (2010 batch IAS) was appointedDirector in the Department of Panchayati Raj.
