Lucknow: In a significant administrative overhaul, the Uttar Pradesh government led by Yogi Adityanath has announced the transfer of 12 IAS officers, including several district magistrates.
2012 batch IAS officer and Sitapur District Magistrate, Mr Anuj Singh has been reassigned to Moradabad, while Abhishek Anand, an IAS officer of 2014 batch, will now take charge in Sitapur. Mr Anand was serving as the District Magistrate of Chitrakoot.
2015 batch IAS officer Shivsharanappa GN, who previously held the role of Kanpur Municipal Commissioner, has been appointed as the new District Magistrate of Chitrakoot.
Banda District Magistrate, Ms Durga Shakti Nagpal, an IAS officer of the 2010 batch, has been appointed as the new District Magistrate of Lakhimpur Kheri.
2005 batch IAS officer Nagendra Pratap Singh who is currently serving as Special Secretary in the Ayush Department, has been appointed as new DM of Banda.

2015 batch IAS officer Ajay Kumar Dwivedi, Special Secretary for the Agriculture Production Commissioner, assumes the responsibilities of District Magistrate in Shravasti.
While Madhusudan Hooghly, also an IAS officer of 2015 batch and Additional State Project Director, takes charge as the district magistrate of Kaushambi.
Mr Rajendra Pensia, an IAS officer of 2015 batch and Special Secretary of Urban Development, will now serve as the district magistrate.
