Urmila Sanawar, who brought the Ankita Bhandari murder case back into the spotlight, faces increased difficulties; four cases registered against her in Haridwar, SIT to investigate

Haridwar: Film actress Urmila Sanawar, who claims to be the wife of former BJP MLA Suresh Rathore, may face further trouble. Four cases have been registered against her at different police stations and police outposts in Haridwar district. These cases are registered at Jwalapur police station and Bahadrabad police station. Recently, another case was registered at Bahadrabad police station, in which Urmila and former MLA Suresh Rathore are also named. Now, the SIT will investigate all four cases.

It is worth noting that a villager recently filed a case at Bahadrabad police station. This case includes the names of Urmila Sanawar and former MLA Suresh Rathore. Earlier, Suresh Rathore had filed a case at Jwalapur police station. Therefore, to resolve these separate cases, Haridwar SSP Pramendra Dobal has constituted an SIT (Special Investigation Team).

The SIT will conduct the investigation under the leadership of Haridwar SP City Abhay Kumar Singh. The SIT includes a total of 7 members, including 2 inspectors. A total of 4 cases have been registered against Urmila Sanawar at Jwalapur police station and other police stations. Thus, Urmila Sanawar’s difficulties appear to be increasing.

Ankita Bhandari murder case back in the spotlight due to Urmila Sanawar’s video

In fact, film actress Urmila Sanawar had posted on social media regarding the Ankita Bhandari murder case. She also released an audio. The audio allegedly contained a conversation between her and former MLA Suresh Rathore. The audio claimed that several big leaders were also involved in the Ankita Bhandari case, but they were not punished.

As soon as the audio surfaced, it created a stir in Uttarakhand politics. The Congress party attacked the BJP. Protests and demonstrations demanding justice for Ankita started taking place in various places. Meanwhile, former MLA Suresh Rathore held a press conference, claiming the audio was AI-generated and demanding strict action against actress Urmila Sanawar.

Meanwhile, a villager filed a case against Urmila and Suresh Rathore at Bahadrabad police station, accusing them of conspiring against and defaming the BJP leader. Recently, a case was also registered against Urmila at Jhabrera police station. In total, four cases have been registered against actress Urmila Sanawar at Kotwali Jwalapur, Kotwali Ranipur, Bahadrabad police station, and Jhabrera police station in Haridwar.

SIT ordered to conduct an impartial investigation

To ensure the swift and successful resolution of these cases, Haridwar Senior Superintendent of Police Pramendra Singh Dobal has issued orders to constitute a Special Investigation Team (SIT). The responsibility for conducting an impartial investigation into the cases has been assigned to SP City Abhay Kumar Singh.

Urmila Sanawar releases a video crying

Meanwhile, Urmila Sanawar has released a video on her social media page, in which she is seen crying. In the video, she is seen making serious allegations against the police regarding her arrest. She is also seen saying that the police are looking for her to arrest her. She is also seen criticizing the government.
