Dehradun: Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for his bold decisions to implement several laws, including the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) and the anti-conversion law. He said the Dhami government has set an example for other states.
Prime Minister Modi praised the government led by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, saying that by implementing the UCC seriously, the government has set an example for other states. Similarly, the state government has adopted bold policies in the national interest through the anti-conversion and riot control laws.
Concluding his address, the Prime Minister expressed his best wishes and said that on the silver jubilee of the state’s establishment, Uttarakhand will proudly move forward, reaching new heights of development. He expressed his expectations from the people of the state, saying that when the country celebrates 100 years of independence, Uttarakhand will reach what heights it will reach. This is the path we must choose. Therefore, without waiting, we must embark on our path. The Government of India will always stand with the Uttarakhand government in this journey.
PM Modi also praised the Uttarakhand government for providing digital currency grants to apple and kiwi farmers. He said that tracking financial assistance is becoming possible through modern technology. “I commend the state government, the RBI, and all stakeholders for this.”
