Uttarakhand: Additional Secretary Omkar Singh’s termination letter in discussions, speculations begin in the government

Dehradun: Omkar Singh, who is looking after the Social Welfare Department as Additional Secretary in the Uttarakhand Government, has written a letter to Chief Secretary Radha Raturi to remove himself from this department. However, he has cited health reasons for this. But since the letter came out, many kinds of discussions are coming up about him. Which also includes his displeasure at the departmental level.

A letter written by an Additional Secretary level officer in the Secretariat has become a topic of discussion. In fact, Additional Secretary Omkar Singh has requested to be removed from the responsibility of Additional Secretary of Social Welfare Department. The big thing is that he has also written a letter to Chief Secretary Radha Raturi for this. Additional Secretary Omkar Singh has asked the Chief Secretary in his letter to remove him from the responsibility of Social Welfare Department. He has also cited his poor health as the reason behind this. Omkar Singh has written that he should be removed from the responsibility of Additional Secretary of Social Welfare and kept on compulsory waiting due to poor health condition.

Additional Secretary Omkar Singh has been given the responsibility related to tribes in the Social Welfare Department. It is believed that he wants to leave the Social Welfare Department due to some resentment in the department. ETV Bharat also tried to talk to Additional Secretary Omkar Singh in this matter but could not talk to him as his phone number was switched off.

Additional Secretary Omkar Singh is an officer of the Secretariat Service and for a long time he has also handled the responsibility of many other important departments including the Department of Confidentiality. Omkar Singh is considered one of those knowledgeable officers in the government who has handled the responsibility of various departments in Uttar Pradesh as well. Although his health had deteriorated in the recent past, but after that he recovered and returned to his work. Meanwhile, his letter written to the Chief Secretary has come into discussions.

It is being told that Omkar Singh had also requested some other senior officers to remove him from the Social Welfare Department, but when his problem was not resolved, he sent his letter to Chief Secretary Radha Raturi and applied to relieve him from the responsibility.
