Uttarakhand: CM Dhami gave appointment letters to 187 candidates selected for various posts, said- work with honesty

Dehradun: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the program organized at Mukhya Sevak Sadan located at the Chief Minister’s residence on Sunday. The CM distributed appointment letters to 144 candidates selected for various posts of the Irrigation Department and 43 eligible dependents under the deceased dependent quota in Uttarakhand Transport Corporation. The Chief Minister distributed appointment letters to the candidates / dependents selected for a total of 187 various posts.

The Chief Minister appealed to the selected candidates to work with honesty, integrity, transparency and dedication. He said that the state government has also done the work of giving appointments to the dependents of the deceased employees pending for a long time.

Last year, appointment letters have been provided to 150 dependents and today the remaining 43 eligible dependents. He said that due to the efforts of the state government, the corporation earned a record profit of more than Rs 56 crore in 2024.

Appointment letters were also given to 150 dependents last year and the remaining 43 eligible dependents on Sunday. In three years, more than 23 thousand youth of the state have been successful in getting government jobs. Said that among all the selected youth, many state agitators were also selected under the horizontal reservation quota. This is a matter of joy for all. Said that due to the efforts of the state government, the Transport Corporation earned a record profit of more than Rs 56 crore in 2024. Irrigation Minister Satpal Maharaj said that there has been a big decline in unemployment in the country and the state. With the help of the candidates selected in the Irrigation Department, the department will become more capable, which will give new impetus to development. Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi, MLA Khajan Das, Savita Kapoor, Secretary Jugal Kishore Pant, Additional Secretary Reena Joshi etc. were present on this occasion. Adopted zero tolerance policy against corruption CM Dhami said that the state government has adopted zero tolerance policy against corruption. Now no one is spared in corruption cases. Said that earlier there used to be huge favoritism, rigging and corruption in recruitments in the state. Keeping in mind the problem of the youth, the state government implemented the country’s strictest anti-copying law. Now recruitments in the state are being ensured on the basis of complete transparency and merit. With this, eligible candidates are getting the full benefit of their skills and hard work.
