Uttarakhand: Dehradun police on high alert after Operation Sindoor, suspects brought to police station and questioned

Dehradun: Doon police is on high alert after Operation Sindoor launched by Indian Army against terrorists in Pakistan. A massive verification campaign is being run in the city and rural areas of the district since early morning to search for suspects.

Different police teams are running a campaign to verify outsiders along with paramilitary forces. Suspects are being brought to police station and questioned continuously. Doon police has been put on high alert by SSP Dehradun in view of Operation Sindoor launched by Indian Army late night for action in Pakistan after the attack in Pahalgam.

Taking a major action on the 15th day of the Pahalgam terror attack, India destroyed nine terrorist hideouts in Pakistan by air strike after midnight on Tuesday. To teach Pakistan a lesson and destroy terrorist hideouts, the Indian Army launched Operation Sindoor in Pakistan and its occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The hideouts of terrorist groups targeted in the attack were used to plot and direct terrorist attacks against India.

Pakistani media claims that 30 people died in this attack and 25 people were injured. It also claims that 24 missile attacks were carried out at six places in Pakistan.

According to the Indian Army, action was taken against a total of nine terror hideouts in Pakistan and PoK. No military hideout of Pakistan has been targeted. This operation reflects India’s zero tolerance policy against terrorism.
