Dehradun: The government has made a big reshuffle in the Excise Department. In this episode, the Excise Officers of eight districts have been changed.
According to the order issued by Principal Secretary L Fanai, Dehradun’s District Excise Officer Rajiv Chauhan has been sent to Uttarkashi on the same post. Kailash Chand Binjola posted in Tehri has been brought in his place. Laxman Singh posted in Rudraprayag has been assigned the responsibility of District Excise Officer Tehri.

Meenakshi Tamta posted in Bageshwar has been given the responsibility of District Excise Officer Nainital. Nathuram Joshi posted in Nainital has been made District Excise Officer Udham Singh Nagar. Assistant Excise Commissioner Ramesh Chandra Bangwal has been given the responsibility of District Excise Officer Rudraprayag.
Assistant Excise Commissioner Harish Chandra Kumar has been posted as District Excise Officer Bageshwar and Harish Joshi, who was handling the charge of Excise Officer Pithoragarh, has been posted as District Excise Officer Pithoragarh.
Also, Deputy Excise Commissioner Vivek Sonkia has been given the responsibility of Deputy Excise Commissioner Zone Udham Singh Nagar, Nainital. District Excise Officer Uttarkashi Sanjay Kumar has been posted as Assistant Excise Commissioner Kumaon Division.
