Uttarakhand: Dhami government will now hold state cabinet meetings in less intervals, proposals will be worked on faster

Dehradun: Dhami government will now hold state cabinet meetings in less intervals. The government, which has completed more than three years of its term, wants to work expeditiously on all the proposals related to infrastructure works, industrial investment, agriculture-horticulture and public welfare schemes. Many of these proposals are not being decided due to cabinet meetings being held at long intervals.

In view of this practical problem, CM Dhami has instructed Secretary Council of Ministers Shailesh Bagauli to hold a cabinet meeting within a fixed time period in view of the increasing number of proposals. As a result of this, a cabinet meeting has been called on 28 May this time. Secretary Bagauli has confirmed the calling of a cabinet meeting. He admitted that due to the large number of proposals, cabinet meetings will now be held at short intervals. Departmental sources say that proposals of some departments have been sent to the cabinet, but due to many proposals already being under consideration, they are not being discussed.

For this reason, a large number of proposals are coming together in the meeting. Cabinet ministers also want that they have enough time for in-depth discussion on the proposals coming in the meeting. Due to the large number of proposals, there is not enough time to discuss them thoroughly. It is believed that if cabinet meetings are held at shorter intervals, the number of proposals in them will also be limited, so that there will be enough time to discuss them.
