Dehradun: The dispute that started over transfers in the District Collectorate has now reached the state level organization. In this case, some elected employees of the Ministerial Union had even accused PCS officers. Which was opposed by the President of the Ministerial Employees Union and some other officials on the letterhead of the union itself. Now a complaint has been made to the state level officials on the letterhead of the Uttarakhand Collectorate Employees Union, raising questions on the role of the District President regarding the matter.
The employees’ organization in the Dehradun District Collectorate seems to be divided into two factions. On one side the President, Senior Vice President and Joint Secretary are seen, while on the other side the District Secretary and Treasurer have opened a front against the transfer. In this case, on one hand some employees of the District Minister Employees Union have accused two PCS officers of interfering in the transfers, while the District President and Senior Vice President along with some other officials are seen standing with these officers, refuting these allegations.
The special thing is that first a complaint was made to the District Magistrate about the transfers. After that the other elected members distanced themselves from it. For which a memorandum was also given to the District Magistrate. This matter was still going on when now some employees including the elected treasurer and district secretary have written a complaint letter to the state organization officials on the letterhead of Uttarakhand Collectorate Employees Union.
In this complaint letter, allegations have been made of not expanding the District Ministerial Employees Organization as per the rules. The special thing is that this entire matter has also been brought to the notice of the District Magistrate. There is a state of panic in the District Collectorate due to the division of employees into two factions. On the other hand, Additional District Magistrate KK Mishra has already said that this matter is not related to him. Transfers are not decided at his level. Therefore, the name of any officer should not be dragged into this, but despite this, this controversy does not seem to be stopping at the moment.
Many types of discussions are being held in the District Collectorate regarding this entire matter. Questions are also being raised that what happened that the employees got divided into two groups? Why are the names of officers being taken in the matter? In this regard, some employees are referring to an old case in hushed tones. Due to which there was a rift between the employee and the officer.
It is obvious that due to this tension between the employees, the atmosphere of the district collectorate cannot remain healthy in terms of work. In such a situation, it is being waited that when will the District Magistrate take cognizance of this entire matter. What will be his further action?
