Uttarakhand gets 1238 nursing officers, will be posted in 5 medical colleges and cancer institutes

Dehradun: Five medical colleges and cancer institutes of Uttarakhand have got 1238 nursing officers. Places of posting have also been allotted to the nursing officers selected from the Medical Service Selection Board. The list of nursing officers has been uploaded on the official website by the Medical Education Department. The Principal of the concerned medical college will give appointment letters to all these officers.

Uttarakhand Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat issued a statement saying that nursing officers have been posted in 5 medical colleges of the state and State Cancer Institute Haldwani. With the appointment of all these officers, there will be better improvement in health facilities in the hospitals attached to the medical colleges.

Director of Medical Education Department Dr. Ashutosh Sayana says that all nursing officers have been posted relative to the vacant posts. He said that this includes 248 nursing officers for Government Medical College Srinagar, 189 for Almora Medical College, 221 for Haldwani Medical College, 271 for Dehradun, 245 for Rudrapur Medical College and 64 nursing officers in State Cancer Institute Haldwani.

Dr. Ashutosh Sayana said that all the officers will have to go to the place of posting with their educational documents. Where their original certificates will be verified by the college administration. Only after this they will be given appointment letters and posted.
