Dehradun: There is good news for the youth dreaming of a job in Uttarakhand. Under the School Education Department, about 11 thousand posts of all cadres will be filled in the current academic session 2024-25. For this, the Education Minister has instructed the departmental officials to start the recruitment process as soon as possible.
In fact, on Tuesday, School Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat held a review meeting with the officials of the School Education Department. In the meeting, instructions were given to fill the vacant posts of primary teachers, secondary teachers, holistic education, principals and fourth class.
The Education Minister said that about 11 thousand posts are lying vacant in all the cadres under the Education Department. These vacant posts will be filled in the current academic session 2024-25, in which 3900 posts of teachers under primary education, 1500 posts of assistant teachers under secondary education, 700 posts of lecturers, 650 principals, 100 posts of sub-division education, 624 posts of DIET, 1500 posts of all cadres including CRP-BRP under Samagra Shiksha and about 2500 posts of fourth class will be filled.
He also said that after filling the vacant posts of teachers, the shortage of teachers in the state will be removed. During the review meeting, the minister directed the officials to prepare the rules of DIET as soon as possible. The ongoing construction work in the schools should be expedited.
Apart from this, the current status of PM-Shri and cluster schools, the current status of budget expenditure in relation to the allocated budget, the arrangement of basic facilities (buildings and classrooms, furniture, drinking water system, electrification, canteen, toilet) in primary schools should be improved. So that students can be provided with high quality education along with all the facilities.
