Dehradun: The Uttarakhand government has promoted IAS officer Meenakshi Sundaram. After the promotion, Meenakshi Sundaram has now reached the level of Principal Secretary. In such a situation, putting an end to all these discussions, the Uttarakhand government has issued an order related to the promotion of IAS officer R Meenakshi Sundaram.

IAS officer R Meenakshi Sundaram is a 2001 batch officer. A service period of 25 years is required for promotion to the level of Principal Secretary. IAS officer R Meenakshi Sundaram is completing his 25 years of service in January 2026. In such a situation, the Uttarakhand government has issued an order for promotion to the IAS officer, giving relaxation of a few months in the service period.
Now three officers in the government are at the level of Principal Secretary
Earlier also, officers have been given relaxation for promotion. After the promotion of R Meenakshi Sundaram to the level of Principal Secretary, now three officers in the government will be of the level of Principal Secretary. The most senior Principal Secretary in this is R K Sudhanshu, while after this L Fanai is also handling the responsibility in the government as Principal Secretary. On the other hand, now after promotion, R Meenakshi Sundaram has also reached the level of Principal Secretary. IAS officer R Meenakshi Sundaram is currently looking after the responsibility of Housing and Energy as Secretary in the government.
