Land transfer cases in Uttarakhand often create problems for many schemes. The long time taken in this also puts the schemes on hold many times. To expedite all such development schemes in the state, the officers are going to understand the intricacies of land transfer. The special thing is that all these cases of land transfer come under the Forest Conservation Act 1980. Some amendments have been made in the Act in December 2023. Not only this, many rules and new guidelines have also been given by the Government of India. Obviously, it is very important for the officers to know these rules.
