Uttarakhand: Newly appointed DM of Champawat Manish Kumar has become IAS from IPS, enumerated priorities after taking charge

Champawat: The government has given charge of the post of District Magistrate to young IAS in many districts across the state. In the border Champawat district also, the government has appointed 2018 batch IAS Manish Kumar as the 24th District Magistrate of the district. After taking charge of the District Magistrate in the district, Manish Kumar enumerated his priorities.

Bihar-origin IAS Manish Kumar has become the District Magistrate of Champawat district after clearing a prestigious exam like IAS after IPS. Earlier, he has also taken charge of CDO of Udham Singh Nagar district. After taking charge in the district, Manish Kumar talked about working on the policy of zero tolerance in the district. He said that his priority is to take the government’s schemes to the last end.

Along with quick resolution of the problems of the common people in the district, developing the district as a model district will also be among his priorities. The DM also said that it is his priority to implement the major development schemes including Golju Corridor, Sharda Corridor, announced by the CM. The District Magistrate also talked about curbing corruption in the district and taking strict action against the guilty personnel. Along with this, he also took information from local journalists about the major public problems of the district. The District Magistrate said that the quick resolution of public problems along with promoting tourism in the district should be given priority.
