Uttarakhand: Newly elected Congress MLAs took oath, said – now the heat will increase in the house, 19 have become 20, now soon will be 21

Dehradun: Both the Congress candidates who won the by-elections for Mangalore and Badrinath assembly seats in Uttarakhand took oath in the assembly today on Saturday 27 July. Both the MLAs were administered the oath by the Speaker of the Assembly Ritu Khanduri. During this, the Congress MLAs said that they have become 19 to 20 in the house and will soon become 21.

The result of the by-election came on 13 July

Let us tell you that voting was held on 10 July for Mangalore assembly seat of Haridwar district and Badrinath assembly seat of Chamoli district, the result of which came on 13 July. Congress candidate Qazi Nizamuddin registered his victory from Mangalore assembly seat. At the same time, Congress candidate Lakhpat Butola also won the Badrinath assembly seat. Both the newly elected MLAs took the oath of office and secrecy in the Dehradun assembly today. This oath was administered by the Speaker of the Assembly Ritu Khanduri Bhushan in her office in the Assembly building. After this, Ritu Khanduri Bhushan also congratulated both the MLAs.

Congress made fun

During this time, a large number of Congress leaders were present in the Speaker’s room. Then the Speaker of the Assembly, seeing the crowd of Congressmen in the room, said that the heat has increased due to more people. In response to this, the Congressmen said that now their number in the House has increased from 19 to 20, so the heat will definitely increase and soon this number is going to be 21.

Both the MLAs told their priority

After taking oath, Congress MLA Qazi Nizamuddin said that he will once again play a role in the highest house of the Assembly according to his experience and familiar working style and will talk on facts and figures. At the same time, Badrinath MLA Lakhpat Butola said that he has got the blessings of Lord Badrinath.

Claimed victory in Kedarnath by-election too

On this occasion, Leader of Opposition Yashpal Arya said that their number has definitely increased from 19 to 20 in the House and will become 21 after Kedarnath elections. This number will give more strength to Congress i.e. the opposition to raise its point in the House.
