Dehradun: Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan said, all preparations have been completed for the monsoon session starting from August 19 in Bhararisain Assembly of summer capital Gairsain. So far 547 questions have been received from 32 MLAs for the session.
In the Assembly auditorium, the Speaker reviewed the security and other arrangements in a meeting of high level officials of various departments for the monsoon session. Many decisions were taken in the meeting for the smooth conduct of the session. The Speaker directed the police officers to maintain tight security during the session. There should be no negligence in entering the assembly premises. The assembly session will be conducted under NeVA (National Electoral Web Application).
For this, special instructions were given to ITDA. High speed network will be provided in the assembly by the communication companies. In the meeting, it was also decided to provide Wi-Fi facility in the entire campus. Vehicles of Vidhan Sabha employees will not enter the premises without entry. Entry passes will be issued to two visitors on the recommendation of ministers and two visitors on the recommendation of MLAs. He directed to keep the supply of health services, electricity and water smooth during the session.
Talking to the media after the meeting, the Vidhan Sabha speaker said, the monsoon session will be held in Bhararisain. Preparations have been completed for this. If the government takes any decision to change the venue of the session in view of the weather, then it is ready to hold the session in Dehradun as well. He has not received any letter from the MLAs to hold the session in Dehradun. He urged the MLAs to keep their views in the House while maintaining the dignity of the House, so that meaningful discussions can be held on issues related to the development of the state.
