Uttarakhand: Several leaders, dissatisfied with organizational appointments, have sought time to meet with Rahul Gandhi and Kharge

Dehradun: Disgruntled state Congress leaders have sought time to meet with Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and National President Mallikarjun Kharge. Dissatisfied with the organizational appointments, they want to present the party’s organizational and future strategy to the top leaders.

Senior Vice President and Spokesperson of the State Congress Dhirendra Pratap stated that he has spoken to State Co-Incharge Surendra Sharma to request an appointment for party leaders to meet with Rahul Gandhi and Kharge. State Congress leaders are also concerned by the Bihar election results. They do not want a repeat of the Bihar election results in the 2027 Uttarakhand Assembly elections.

Former MP Mahendra Singh Pal, former MP Isam Singh, former minister Brahma Swaroop Brahmachari, MLA Tilak Raj Behad, Madan Bisht, State Congress General Secretary and former state minister Maqbool Ahmed and Yakub Qureshi, former state president of the Congress Minority Department Haji Salim Khan Party, former president of the Congress OBC Department Ashish Saini, spokesperson Suraj Negi, and State Congress Secretary Haji Rao Munna have requested time for a meeting.

Dhirendra Pratap said that he has also spoken to former Chief Minister Harish Rawat regarding a meeting with top Congress leaders. He advised that there is nothing wrong in consulting the party high command. If someone wants to discuss something in the party’s interest, it should definitely be done.
