Dehradun: Transport department has intensified preparations for Chardham Yatra. This time enforcement teams will be deployed at all check posts to check vehicles. The department is also busy in preparations for installing GPS devices in public transport vehicles.
For Chardham Yatra, the Transport Department has started repairing all the check posts. Employees will be deployed here on roster basis. Enforcement teams of Transport Department will be deployed on the Yatra routes in addition to check posts. Action will be taken against those coming for the Yatra with vehicles against the rules. The process of green permit will be online this time also.
