Dehradun: For the first time in the new year, Uttarakhand will host the Uttarakhand Travel Conclave. The tourism department has started preparations for it. Stakeholders from across the country will participate, and emphasis will be placed on wedding tourism and adventure tourism. On Saturday, a meeting of the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board was held under the chairmanship of Chief Executive Officer and Secretary Dheeraj Singh Garbyal, in which in-principle approval was given for the organization of the conclave. This will be the first time in the history of the state that the Uttarakhand Tourism Conclave will be organized.
This conclave will be held in collaboration with the Indian Association of Tour Operators, with the active participation of the Hotel and Restaurant Association, Uttarakhand Tourism Representative Association, Tour Operators Association of Uttarakhand, and the Adventure Tour Operators Association of India. Secretary Garbyal said that this two-day B2B conclave will be a decisive step towards establishing the state as a leading destination for wedding tourism, adventure tourism, and responsible tourism.
Domestic and international tour operators, wedding planners, event and concert organizers, and organizations associated with adventure tourism will be given the opportunity to showcase their products and services in an expo and display format. Meetings and thematic sessions focusing on wedding tourism, adventure tourism, domestic and international tourism, and responsible tourism will also be organized.
