Dehradun: The order of two handfuls of rice from the office of the Executive Engineer of the Public Works Department located in Lohaghat is now proving costly for the engineer. After our report on the matter, the Uttarakhand government has taken it seriously. Now orders have been given to remove the Executive Engineer from responsibility
There was a stir in the office of the Public Works Department located in Champawat Lohaghat when a letter of the Executive Engineer started going viral on social media. In this letter, orders were given to adopt the formula of justice under divine faith. The special thing is that after this order came to light, we published this news prominently. This matter was also brought to the notice of the Secretary of the Public Works Department.
In fact, a letter was issued by Executive Engineer Ashutosh Kumar from the Executive Engineer Lohaghat office. In which it was told that the service book of Engineer Jaiprakash posted in the Executive Engineer office itself was not available. When this service book was not found even after a lot of efforts, Executive Engineer Ashutosh Kumar issued an order. In this case, taking the help of divine faith, justice will be done by the deity itself.
It was written in the viral letter on social media that all the employees have to bring two handfuls of rice from their home. Which will be put in the temple. Everyone was surprised to see this letter issued in the name of Executive Engineer Ashutosh Kumar. The government also took this matter very seriously. Perhaps this is the reason that immediately sought clarification from Executive Engineer Ashutosh Kumar from Dehradun Public Works Department Headquarters. He was also instructed to give clarification on this matter within three days. Along with this, a warning of action was also given in case of not giving clarification.
Just one day had passed from the time given for clarification that the government has now ordered the removal of Executive Engineer Lohaghat Ashutosh Kumar from his post. Secretary Public Works Department Pankaj Kumar Pandey has issued an order in this regard. Under which, Executive Engineer Lohaghat has been removed from his current posting on administrative grounds and attached to the Regional Chief Engineer Office, Pauri. Talking to the media, Secretary of Public Works Department Pankaj Kumar Pandey has confirmed this.
