Dehradun: For the first time after the formation of Uttarakhand, Animal Husbandry Department Statistical Cadre Service Rules have been made in the state. After the service rules are made, the youth associated with the statistical field in the state will get a chance to get a government job. The special thing is that due to this, those people will also get benefit who were deprived of promotion due to lack of rules.
Service rules of Statistics cadre in Uttarakhand Animal Husbandry Department will soon be implemented. For this, a government order is going to be issued at the government level. Actually, due to the absence of rules regarding this cadre, many types of problems were coming up. Which can now be removed. Under this, not only the youth will get employment opportunities but the employees working in the department will also get the benefit of promotion.
As soon as the Animal Husbandry Department Statistical Service Rules come into effect, new recruitment will be done in the department, which could not be done till now due to the absence of rules. Requisitions for statistical posts were not being sent at the department level, while there are a total of 56 posts in the department, although some posts have been filled in it, but many posts which are vacant. Decisions could not be taken on them. Not only this, the employees and officers present in the department were also not able to get the benefit of promotion on time due to the absence of rules.
The special thing is that earlier the cabinet has also approved this rule, while now the government order is awaited to implement the rule on the ground from the government level. This rule could not be made at the department level even in the 25 years of the establishment of the state. Due to which the appointment, promotion and other service related works of the employees were getting affected.
Animal Husbandry Secretary Dr. BVRC Purushottam has described this service manual as important. Till now, the old Statistical Service Manual of Uttar Pradesh 1981 was applicable for the department in the state. On the basis of which all the employee related provisions were being made. However, despite this, the government had made amendments in various posts of the statistical cadre in 2009 and 2012. Under which the work of reorganization was done in its structure.
Decisions were also taken on the posts of Statistics Officer, Assistant Statistics Officer, Senior Statistics Assistant, Statistics Assistant and Junior Statistics Assistant in the department. Despite these various amendments, the functioning in the department was becoming difficult due to the old rules. Which have finally been attempted to be abolished by making new service and rules. However, the government order is still awaited regarding the approved service manual.
