Gairsain: Uttarakhand’s youngest village head Priyanka Negi met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in Bhararisain of Gairsain. Priyanka Negi is the village head of Chief Minister’s Adarsh Gram Sarkot. Who is just 21 years old. Priyanka Negi contested the election for the first time, who is now handling the reins of Sarkot village after being elected. At the same time, after meeting CM Dhami, she expressed gratitude for all the development works and also put forward many demands.
Priyanka Negi met CM Dhami: Let us tell you that the Assembly Monsoon Session was convened in Bhararisain of Gairsain. In this episode, Priyanka Negi, the village head of Chief Minister’s Adarsh Gram Sarkot, met Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in Bhararisain. Priyanka thanked CM Dhami for the approval of the road from Bhararisain to Sarkot and various development works.
Priyanka Negi put forth these demands: During this, Priyanka Negi requested CM Dhami to arrange for solar fencing for protection from wild animals in the village, repair of internal routes, self-employment work to empower and make women self-reliant, arrange for solar lights on the roads and appoint a pediatrician and gynecologist in the Community Health Center Gairsain.
CM Dhami assured proper solution to the problems: At the same time, Chief Minister Dhami assured proper solution to all the problems informed by Priyanka Negi. He said that instructions have been given to the concerned departmental officers and the district administration to resolve all the problems. Sarkot will also become a model for the rest of the villages.
CM Dhami has adopted Sarkot village: It is worth noting that Sarkot village is near Bhararisain Vidhan Sabha Bhawan. Which has been adopted by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. Where the villagers have expressed their trust in 21-year-old Priyanka Negi and elected her as their village head. On becoming the village head, on August 1, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had congratulated Priyanka Negi over the phone.
During that time, CM Dhami had also invited Priyanka to come to Dehradun and meet him, but she met CM Dhami in Gairsain itself. Earlier, CM Dhami had told Priyanka that Adarsh Gram Sarkot has to be made a better village. The government intends that the rest of the villages of Uttarakhand should be like Adarsh Gram Sarkot.
