Uttarkashi: The natural calamity in Uttarakhand is not taking the name of reducing. Heavy rainfall has been reported in Naugaon area of ​​Uttarkashi district. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami also took cognizance of the heavy rainfall in Naugaon area. Sharing the information on Twitter, he said that as soon as the information of heavy rainfall in Naugaon area of ​​​​Uttarkashi district was received, he immediately talked to the District Magistrate and directed to conduct relief and rescue operations on a war footing.

The CM has also clearly directed to immediately take the affected people to safe places and ensure that there is no delay in all possible help. According to the information, it is being told on Saturday evening. After heavy rains in the high altitude areas of Devalsari, there was a sudden flood of water. In this flood, debris also came along with water in Naugaon and surrounding villages. According to the villagers, a huge amount of water started flowing suddenly with a loud roar, due to which water entered the fields, roads and some houses. However, there is no report of any loss of life so far.

But looking at the situation, people are very cautious. The police force is fully alert and is patrolling the affected areas. The police is constantly making people aware and advising them to go to safe places. The administration has also deployed SDRF, disaster management teams and local administrative officials on the spot. The control room has been activated to deal with any emergency and relief material has been kept ready.
