Uttarkashi Dharali disaster, CM Dhami donated one month’s salary, IAS Association also donated

Dehradun: Today is the third day of Uttarkashi Dharali disaster. Disaster rescue work is going on on the spot on the third day as well. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Dhami has decided to donate his one month’s salary to help the disaster victims. At the same time, Uttarakhand IAS Association has also donated one day’s salary to help the disaster victims. This amount will be deposited in the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

During the recent disaster in Dharali and Harshil area, relief and rescue operations are being conducted on a war footing by the state government. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced to donate his one month’s salary for disaster relief work.

The Chief Minister said that the state government is standing with the disaster affected people at every step. In this difficult situation, everyone should unite and help the victims. He also appealed to public representatives, officials, voluntary organizations and common citizens to cooperate in the relief work as per their capacity.

At the same time, Uttarakhand IAS Association has also decided to donate one day’s salary. Dilip Jawalkar said that the association had a comprehensive discussion about the terrible disaster in Dharali area of Uttarkashi district. In which all the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers of Uttarakhand state have decided to voluntarily donate one day’s salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. This decision is a symbol of human sensitivity and social responsibility towards the disaster victims.

He said that this symbolic contribution not only reflects the association’s sympathy and commitment towards the disaster affected people, but also expresses solidarity with those dedicated officers, security forces, medical teams, disaster management personnel and volunteers who are engaged day and night in relief-rescue and rehabilitation work.

Dilip Jawalkar said that in the meeting, in this hour of terrible disaster, every member of the association has been expected to provide his full cooperation with sensitivity and responsibility.
