Recently, BJP National President and Union Health Minister JP Nadda visited Gunji Vibrant Village in the border district Pithoragarh. According to BJP state president and Rajya Sabha MP Mahendra Bhatt, who returned after visiting with Nadda, the Vibrant Village scheme has a tremendous positive impact on the border villages.

The effect of tourism and pilgrimage schemes has started showing in these villages. After Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Adi Kailash and Om Parvat Yatra, the number of devotees and tourists visiting here has increased significantly. With the cooperation of the central and state governments, schemes related to health, education, communication, roads, drinking water, agriculture, horticulture, self-employment are being run in the Vibrant Village.
