Rishikesh: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar reached All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) today. He planted a sapling in the campus under the campaign ‘One Plant in the Name of Mother’. During this, the Vice President expressed grief over the incident with the female doctor in Kolkata.
He said that the culture of our country is Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. The daughter of our family did not see day or night to serve the public. Rape and cruelty with her is unimaginable. Doctors, nursing staff are sad. Due to this incident, parents will also think whether to make their daughter a doctor or not. When we think about this, the heart gets disturbed.
He said that the girl who tried to save our body by becoming a doctor, her body was torn to pieces. I have come to express my participation in your grief.
