Dehradun: A review meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan regarding the virtual registration of assets, such as land, for sale and purchase. The Chief Secretary directed the concerned officials to monitor the progress of the virtual registration process and ensure its implementation within the stipulated timeline. The Chief Secretary said that coordination should be established with all relevant stakeholders to complete the virtual registration of land purchases and sales.
He directed that the relevant application/portal should include provisions to ensure that all documents related to land purchases and sales are shared between various stakeholders, departments, bodies, and agencies in an automated and paperless manner. He stated that the completion of this project will bring transparency to the purchase and sale of land, ensure consistent and accurate land records are shared between various departments, bodies, agencies, and stakeholders, and reduce disputes related to land purchase and sale.
