The government of West Bengal has recently transferred IPS Dipak Sarkar from his present designation as DC – Est, Siliguri Police Commissionerate, to the post of DC – North Division in Kolkata, after protesting doctors submitted their “five-point demands” to CM Mamata Banerjee after the RG Kar Medical College Horror. Officer Sarkar is a 2021 batch IPS officer.
